"Life is made up of moments ..."

I still cry each time I send one of my brides down the aisle. Not because I am overly sentimental but because usually, from where I am standing, I can see the groom's face when he sees his bride for the very first time on their wedding day.

That is a moment that I don't think I will ever get over. It's a glimpse into a very special moment; a very private moment; a moment that two people have, in part, put their trust into me to make happen.

And that is exactly the reason I give everything I have to make that moment perfect.

Celebrations are important and a part of who we are. From a young age I learned to cherish the times spent around my grandparents' backroom table as friends and family gathered to tell tales, share stories and celebrate the moments and milestones of our lives.

It was during those celebrations that my grandfather would always say "Eat, drink and be merry."

Be merry.

For the past six years, I have been fortunate enough to be able to turn my passion into my profession and to work with so many great clients to create the kinds of memories and moments that left such an impression on me throughout the years.

For me, the moment of success comes somewhere later in the evening when you look around and you are surrounded by those you hold dear as they laugh and smile and you say to yourself, "This is what it's all about."
